September 16, 2024 – Muay Thai for Life (MTFL) and United Fight Alliance (UFA) announced today that they have signed a monumental broadcast agreement with UFA where UFA will be a new distribution partner for MTFL, broadcasting MTFL programing throughout the established UFA networks across the United States. UFA networks include NBC Sports RSNs, Bally Sports RSNs, MSG Network, Space City Home Network, Stadium TV, SportsNet Pittsburg, Marquee SportsNet, ROOT Sports Network and many independent stations.
Muay Thai for Life (MTFL) was established in 2021 and today is the leading Muay Thai combat sports fight promoter in Northern Europe. As MTFL prepares for its highly anticipated tenth show, the televised replay of MTFL 8 will be broadcast through UFA’s existing broadcast distribution channels. UFA distributes televised combat sports content on traditional broadcast television to over 130 million homes in the US, and on its 24/7 FAST channel available to U.S. and international markets.
Through this landmark agreement MTFL Muay Thai fight content will now be seen across major U.S. networks throughout September and October, bringing the best of Nordic combat sports to millions of new American households. The broadcast of MTFL 8.0 will begin on September 21st, with the following three MTFL 8.0 episodes debuting each of the next three Saturdays. The weekly episodes are scheduled to air 168 times across UFA’s networks.
Below are the initial airdates for each MTFL 8.0 episode. For the complete schedule of broadcast times and networks, see UFA’s full UFA Television Schedule here.

“We are incredibly pleased to partner with UFA as they help us reach out to new markets, and we look forward to gaining a slew of new fans and viewers in North America,” said MTFL promoter Patrick Thomsen. “This is just the beginning; we have big plans for MTFL, and this is a testament to the success of the hard work we’ve put into our promotion.”
UFA has standing broadcast agreements with regional NBC Sports, Bally Sports networks, regional broadcast partners, digital streaming platforms and FAST channels such as Distro TV, Roku, ScreenHits TV, Live TVx, Rewarded TV, Xumo Play and Freecast.
The agreement with UFA marks a significant milestone for both MTFL and the entire Nordic combat sports scene, making MTFL the first promotion from the region to achieve such widespread international exposure.
“Muay Thai is one of the elemental fighting styles of all time.” Said United Fight Alliance CEO Jordan “Jay” Adams. “They call it the “Art of 8 limbs” because it makes use of 8 points of contact – namely, punches, elbows, knees and kicks. I also have a particular affinity for the Wai Cru, which translates as “paying respect to the teacher” in Thai. Fighters perform Wai Kru to pay respect to their teachers and their family. Another purpose is to bless their opponent, the ring and themselves so that they will be victorious in battle. I love Muay Thai! It’s non-stop pressure, action, respect and honor. We are thrilled to help bring MTFL and this fascinating sport to the United States.”
This new partnership with UFA sets the stage for further expansion in 2025, as MTFL continues to solidify its position as a top-tier global combat sports promotion.
